Hello guys! As I already told you on the previous post I made a tutorial on the dragon scale nails I did some time ago. It's not the easiest of designs but with practice everyone can rock these nails!

Vintage Floral Tutorial
Hello lovelies! I have a tutorial on my vintage floral design for you today. I told you I would post it soon and here you are.
1. Paint your nails with your favorite base coat and paint them black or any other dark color like brown or navy blue.
2. For the flowers you need three shades for each color of flower. You can mix them until you find the three shades that you need for each flower. These are the colors for the pink flowers.
3. With the lightest color paint some abstract shapes, not perfect circles just get your brush and create random irregular spots.
4. With the other two darker shades just paint over with random strokes just like this:
5. Repeat with all the colors you want and then add a top coat and you have already finished this easy floral design.
These are all the colours used for this design. Try and get three colors that are really similar so you have three shades for each flower. If not you can mix them together to make them look more the same.
I hope you try this design. Let me know if you do, you can tag me on instagram #thenailartshow or just comment here or on my facebook page so I can see your designs. Have a lovely day and happy polishing!

Lightning Tutorial
Hey guys! I can't keep my promisses and at this rythm november won't be as active as I wanted it to be. While I finish my next design which is taking me more than two hours to get done I'm posting this tutorial some of you have asked for. The lightning design which you can totally wear anytime and in fact isn't that difficult!
1. Paint your nails a base color, it can either be dark blue or even black.
2. Sponge a lighter blue making some path for the lightning to follow, this will create the effect that the lightning is actually illuminating your nail. I also added some darker blue to make some shades. It's better to use little pieces of spong and apply the color with tweezers.
3. Spong some dark pink or purple on random spots just to give the design some color
4. From the base of the nail to the tip create a line with white or light yellow. It has to be irregular so you don't need steady hands for this.
5. From the original line make one or two more in different directions. Remember to make them edgy like lightnings.
6. Apply top coat and you are ready to rock your nails.
These are the colors I used but you can try different combinations, purple base, black base and sponging with ligher colors. The possibilities are infinite!
I hope to see you try these out. If you do please let me know I would love to see your work, if you have an instagram just tag #thenailartshow or just put the link on the comments below so I can check them out! Happy polishing and keep tuned for my next design COMING SOON!

Lace Tutorial
Hey guys! I am so sorry I can't post a new mani for the 31 day challenge, I'm really busy with university and my choir. Singfònics, the choir that I'm in, is on a TV program and we have rehearsals everyday and it occupies most of my time. I thought as I can't give you a new design I would give you a tutorial for my Lace It Up design from last week.
1. Paint your nails with your favorite base coat and a base color, I chose this pastel purple.
2. Paint a black half circle on your nail as you were going to do a halfmoon mani.
3. Make a curved line at some distance from the half circle and draw some lines.
4. Paint little half circles around the line you just created
5. Go from end to end of the nail, it's quite a difficult step so be patient. I finished my nails here as I was really happy with how they looked but you can continue with the next steps if you want a more fuller nail.
6. From the borders of your nail make two curved lines that meed in the middle.
7. Draw another curved line where the other two lines met.
8. Just above the line we just did make a more curved one.
9. With a really small dotting tool or the same nail art brush male little dots to finish the design and make it look more like lace.
10. Add a top coat to protect your design and you have finished with your lace design.
This is the final result following the steps until 5, but you can continue and fill your nail with the rest of the design.
These are the two colors I used for this design but you can try many combinations, different base colors, white or gray for the lace pattern. Anything is valid!
I hope you enjoyed this tutorial and I will do my best to try and do my nails this week. Next theme is watermarble and I suck so hard at watermarble but well... that's what challenge are for, trying to improve and trying things you wouldn't normally do right? Wish me luck and happy polishing!

Waterfall Tutorial
Hey guys, I've put together a quick pictorial on how to do waterfall nails. It's a really fun design with infinite color possibilities!
The things you need are just one nail polish for the base color and 4-6 different nail polishes for the lines. You will also need a 10mm-ish long and thin nail art brush.
You just need to paint your nail with the base color of your choice and then starting with the darker color create some lines of different length. Continue doing this with the other colors and just add a top coat. See easy peasy! Check here to see the list of colors I used for this mani.
I really liked the idea of this design so I picked up my nail wheel and started trying different color combinations:
I really had nothing better to do and I went a little crazy but I think all the different colors look awesome with this design. Don't you? What's your favorite combination?
Here are all the color I used for each design:
Green Waterfall:
Purple Waterfall:
Pink Waterfall:
Yellow Waterfall:
Metallic Waterfall:
Red Waterfall:
Have I convinced you of the awesomeness of this waterfall design? Try this yourself and let me know what you think, I bet you will recieve tons of compliments on your nails and it won't take you long to do, not even a lot of effort to get kick ass nails. Show me your nails on twitter or instagram tag me #thenailartshow. Happy polihing lovelies!

Spiral Design Tutorial
It's been a while since I posted my last tutorial and now that I think about it I still have a few that I need to post here, I just never remember. Today you saw my spiral designand some of you liked it so I thought it would be cool to make a quick tutorial on how to do it. It's really easy and you can try so many different colors and variations. Let's get the show started!
1. Paint your nails with any color you want, I would use the lighter color for the base and the darker for the spiral design.
2. Make a dot in the middle of the nail. This dot will guide us when we start making the triangle forms for the spiral.
3. From the dot we created earlier draw a curved line from the center to the tip.
4. Like before, using the dot as a reference, we make another curved line creating a trianglish form.
5. Fill the triangle.
6. Create another triangle leaving more or less the same space betweet triangles
7. Repeat the process until you achieve a full spiral covering the entire nail
8. Add a top coat and it's finished! You now have a hypnotizing spiral on your nails.
The color I used for this design is my favorite pink: Velvet Rose by Astor
I hope you enjoyed this tutorial and you try this yourselves. Don't forget to comment, tag me on instagram and twitter #thenailartshow so I can see your designs. Share with your friends and happy polishing guys!

Turquoise Stone Effect Tutorial (Saran Wrap)
Hi again! I've had some requests on my instagram on how I did my turquoise stone effect nails. It's pretty easy so I decided to make a quick tutorial so you can do them yourselves.
Things you will need:
- Saran Wrap or any kind of plastic wraping paper
- Nail polish
- Thin brush or a toothpick
1. Paint your nails with a turquoise blue and wait until it's totally dry.
2. Get the saran wrap and cut it into little pieces. Scrunch it and apply some polish on it. Not much you can tap it on a piece of paper to remove the excess polish. Dab it onto your nail just a little bit.
3. Using a thin brush or a toothpick and some gold polish create little spots they don't have to be perfect they have to look like stains on a stone.
4. Add a top coat and taadaa! You are done, you have turquoise effect nail design.
I hope this tutorial is useful and you try this yourselves. Don't forget to tweet me or tag me on instagram if you try them. I would love to see your versions of this cute design. If you have any questions comment or email me at thenailartshow@gmai.com. Happy polishing!

Flowered design Tutorial
Hey guys, so as promissed yesterday here's the tutorial on my Flowered design for June Nail Art Challenge. I would say anyone can do this design, there's no special tools you need and you don't need to have steady hands.
This design can be done with different colors and if you want you could start the flowers from the tip and make a french flowered manicure. The possibilities with this kind of design are infinite. Let's get the show started!
1. Start applying your favorite basecoat to protect your natural nails. Paint your nails a pastel yellow.
2. Get a brush, no need for it to be really thin, and make random flowerish shapes with the first color you want for your design, I chose Yellow Sub-Mandarin by Catrice. They don' have to be perfect, hell they don't even have to look like flowers.
3-4-5-6. Using the same technique make random flowers on your nail and leave a black space on your tip. The flowers should be quite close together.
7. Get some black polish and make the centres of the flowers, don't use a dotting dool because it would look to perfect.
8. Top coat your design and it's ready!
It wasn't that difficult right? Let me see your versions of this design. Try it yourselves and post your pictures on instagram and tag #thenailartshow for me to see them. You can also have a chance ov being promoted on Firdays.
Don't fogert to like, share and comment if you have any questions about the tutorial. Happy polishing!

Hey guys, as promissed a quick tutorial on the rainbow ikat nails I did
yesterday. They are perfect for spring and summer and you can do them
with any color you want.
1. Use your favorite base coat to protect your natural nail and then paint your nai with a light color, I chose a pastel yellow.
2. Make two irregular triangles using a brush. They dont need to be perfect and make sure they aren’t too close together.
3. Get black poish and make irregular strokes around the yellow part
4. Suround all the yellow bit
5. Make the same on all the yellow spots you created before. Make sure black and black don’t touch thereselves, that would ruin the design.
6. At the centre of the yellow spot make a white spot, it should also look irregular.
7. Get a small brush and at the centre make a few black strokes to finish the design.
8. Top coat your design to make it last longer and you are done!

Deadly Sins Challenge – Day 7: Sloth (Green Gradient Dots)
Hey guys! Today’s mani is a new entry to the Deadly sins challenge. The theme for this deisgn was ”Don’t try too hard but explain everyone how to do something really easy”. So I decided to do this dotticure. So easy to do for all you lazy heads just give it a try because it’s easy peasy, haha peasy peas green peas like the dots… ok i better get the show started.
When I was doing this mani I didn’t have in mind doing the tutorial for the challenge so I started doing my nails and then thought I oculd use it for the challenge. As I had already started the tutorial is on my right index so I did it with my non dominant hand that’s why the dots are a bit sloppy. But I was so lazy when I realized that I wasn’t going to take it off to make a tutorial so here you have it done with my left hand.
1. Apply your favorite base coat to protect your natural nails and then paint your nails dark green, I used Hugo Moss by Catrice.
2. Get a big dotting tool and make three dots with a lighter green. They don’t need to be in a straight line, mine aren’t.
3. Make three more dots with a different green
4. Repeat the same with another green
5. And again three dots with the last green that should be the lighter color.
6. Add a top coat to seal in the design and you are done!
This is the final result. It’s a really easy design and it looks great. You can do different variations of this design with different colors or starting with the lighter color as a base and go darker with the dots. You choose how you want it to be! These are the colors I used:
I hope you liked this design and you try it yourselves. Don’t forget to share with your friends, like and comment if you have any questions or suggestions. And let me know if you will try this design, I would love to see yours! Happy polishing!

Red Galaxy Tutorial
Hey guys! Well as my red galaxy nails
were quite a success, at least between my friends- yes I have friends
hahahah I’m not always painting my nails- I decided to put up this
little tutorial on how to do galaxy nails. I hope it helps you create
your own galaxy nails using different colors and different styles. It’s
quite difficult doing a tutorial like this as what you really do is just
sponge some colors on your nail but I hope it’s useful for you guys.
Let’s get the show started!
1. As always you will need to apply a base coat to protect your natural nails and then paint your nails black. For this design I used black but if you use colors like pinks and purples dark blue also looks great.
2. Use a make up sponge, I cut it in little pieces and I use some tweezers to hold them, like this you get a more precise look. Sponge some red polish on your nail, it doesn’t have to cover it all just on random places. There isn’t really a wrong way to do it just tap it on your nail but before applying remove the excess of polish by tapping it first on a sheet of paper.
3. Sponge on your nail a coral red or something like that, as before not on your whole nail just on one area. When adding a new color use different sponges so they don’t mix and end up looking the same.
4. Add white to your nail, careful you don’t cover all the other colors with white. White will give this impression of galaxy space thing.
5. Add a dark pink or a really dark red, just a bit over the white and as said before not covering the entire nail.
6. On random spots sponge some flashy orange.
7. Add a bit more white and if you want over the white a lighter orange.
8. I sponged on my nails some more of that dark red we used earlier because it got all covered up with the other colors but if it looks fine without adding the red now it’s time to add some glitters, I used a silver glitter and a redish kinda glitter which had little hexagon glitters too. Don’t paint your nail with the glitter, get the brush remove all the glitter and then with the glitter that remains on the brush tap it on your nail randomly.
9. Using dotting tools of different sizes make a few dots on your nail, not too many you don’t want to cover all the colours you used.
10. With a thin brush (this is optional) make a little cross or two as if they were shining stars, but don’t over do it.
11. Add a top coat to blend the colors in and to protect your design. Don’t forget to clean up your cutticles after because they will probably get dirty after sponging so many colors.
Here are all the colors I used in this design in order that I used them:
I hope you enjoyed this tutorial, I know it looks difficult because there’s quite a lot of steps but it really isn’t it just need quite a lot of colors. Try it yourselves and tell me about it. And if the first time it doesn’t turn out quite well remember practice makes perfect. Don’t forget to share with your friends, like and comment if you have any question or suggestion. Happy polishing!

Skeleton and Sugar Skull Tutorial
Hey guys well as promissed a full tutorial on my 5 de Mayo nails! This
tutorial is for both the skeleton and the sugar skull on my thumbs.
Let’s get the show started!
1. For the upper part of the skeleton paint your nail with a base coat and then pain it black (pain it, paint it blaaack!) sorry ahahaha, well paint it black and then draw a line on the tip of your nail. It doesn’t have to touch your tip you need to let some space for the theeth. The line should be like a zig zag, not a straight line.
2. Draw the head conecting the ends of the line you’ve done.
3. Fill in the head with white polish.
4. With a dotting tool make the eyes and nose. The nose is just an inverted heart. With a dotting tool make the teeth. Just make the dot and slide it to the tip of your nail.
1. For the inferior part of the skeleton paint your nail with a base coat and then pain it black. With white polish make the spine fo the skeleton starting with a little triangle and then make little squares that will be bigger as you get closer to the tip of your nail. The squares don’t have to be even as you can see.
2. To do the ribs just grab a brush or a toothpick and make a curved line that will be thicker near the spine.
3. Make all the ribs which will get longer as you approach the tip of your nail.
4. On the tip of your nail make like a smiley mouth, it mustn’t toucht the tip, you have to leave space for the teeth!
5. Turn the smiley mouth into a semicircle. As we did for the teeth beffore the line must be uneven. Then fill the semicircle with white polish.
6. Using the same technique as before to make the teeth, with a dotting tool make the dot and slide it to the tip of your nail.
1. To create a lovely sugar skull paint your nail with a base coat and then as a base color use white polish. With a dotting tool create the eyes and with a really thin dotting tool or brush or whatever make a triangle for the nose.
2. Draw a smiley face, if you want your skull to be smiling. And with little semicircles go around it.
3. With a dotting tool make like a little flower where the eyes are. Just five dots around the dot we had already created.
4. With a smaller dotting tool and different colours go over the little flower.
5. Put all the colors inside the flower
6. Make a dot in the middle fo the flower with black polish to create the centre of the eye.
Here you have all the steps to recreate my 5 de Mayo nail design. I hope you try it out. If you do let me know, post the link to the post on a comment. Don’t forget to like and share. Happy Polishing.

Easy and cute spring designs
Hey guys. So well as nice weather has finally arrived I decided to make
two tutorials on some cute designs perfect for spring. I did these
designs a while back I will link the photos at the end. They are easy to
do so if you are a beginner and you want to try something new this
spring why not some plants growing on your nails or some cute dasies on
them. Let’s get this show started!
Growing plants:
1. Pick your favorite base coat and paint your nails a birght yellow
2. With a thin brush or small dotting tool make the first branch of the plant curling it at the end.
3. Make another branch. You can make it taller or shorter than the other one but not the same size.
4. Add some little leaves of different sizes to your design.
5. Paint your nails with a top coat to protect your design and you are done!
Dasies on black:
1. Paint your nails black and draw a little line with a brush or a dotting tool.
2. Pain a cross over the line to make the shape of the flower
3. Make the lines a bit thicker and round at the point so they look like petals
4. Repeat the same process and fill your nail with little white flowers
5. With a medium dotting tool and yellow polish create the little dots in the middle of the flowers
6. Add a top coat to protect your design and you are done!
I hope you like these designs. They are simple and do-able for beginners perfect for spring or whenever they look great on your nails. I did these designs before I got my blog and user name you can find them on my Instagram here and here. Don’t forget to like and comment if you have any questions about these designs. I hope you try them yourselves, and if you do let me know I would love to see how they turned out for you. Happy Polishing!

Outfit Inspired / Flower Theme Tutorial
Hi my lovelies, well today I will be showing you how to do this cute
design for spring. It’s really just a flowered mani but it’s also
inspired in this summer dress I love and I can’t wait to wear. So let’s
get the show started!
1. Paint your nails with your favorite base coat to protect them and then paint them with a base color. I chose Not a Greenager from Catrice, the most similar to the green of my dress I could find.
2. Sart painting a small thing line on your nail using a nail art brush or dotting tool.
3. From the centre of the line make little lines to create the little petals of the flower.
4. Repeat it until you have two or three flowers on your nails, remember not doing them really close because you have to fit in the stem.
5. With the same technique we used to do the white flowers we will do the centre of the flower in another color. I used this light red. Like before, paint a stripe (smaller than before) and from the centre of the line make little lines.
6. With a dark green, the same we will be using for the stems of the flower, make irregular dots in the middle.
7. Draw the stems of the flowers in different directions with a dotting tool or a brush using the same green that we used to do the centre of the flower.
8. Apply your favorite top coat and the design is ready!
I hope you like this mani and don’t forget to like and comment. If you try this design let me know, I will be happy to check it out. Happy polishing!

Apples Tutorial
Today I will be showing you how to make the complete Apple fruity fruity! mani. So let’s get the show started!
Little Apples:
1. Use your favorite base coat and apply a netral/nude base color for your design. I chose my favorite nude Cookies and Cream by Essence.
2. With a thin brush, dotting tool or even tooth pick, draw little apple shapes on your nail. You can use any color: green, red… Start with the top of the shape, like you were going to draw a heart and then make it rounder at the end, like this you will create a litte apple.
3. Fill every nail with little apples in all the directions you want.
4. With a brown polish make the little tails. Just curve them to a side or another, you can’t do this wrong.
5. Take a green polish for the leaf. With a brush or dotting tool just make a dot and slide the brush to the tail of the apple to create the shape of the leaf. don’t worry if it isn’t perfect it’s just a leaf. If you accidentali went over the brown polish don’t worry just go over the brown again to cover the green. In fact I did this on all the apples to give them a cleaner look.
6. Apply your favorite top coat and you have finished! It’s time to show off this cute design perfect for spring.
To make your design a bit more interesting you can add an accent nail. On my ring finger I did a hole apple just to break a bit with the design so it wouldn’t be the same. Here you have how to make this accent nail.
Accent nail:
1. Start with a naked nail. You should a apply a base coat to protect your natural nails. Mine is already stained, problems of a polisholic.
2. With a thin brush or dotting tool, life before we will draw the shape of a heart. It doesn’t have to be symmetrical. Remember it’s an apple and they aren’t perfect. Just be careful you leave plenty of space for the details (tail and leaf)
3. Fill in the apple. Just as befor you can do the apple any color. I used Feme Fatal by Essence.
4. Pick the same brown polish you used for your little apples and draw the tail, curving it to one side.
5. Use any green for the leaf, I used Not A Greenager by Catrice. Rememer it’s the same technique as before: dot and slide until you touch the tail. Here you can also go over the brown to cover any green you got there by accident.
6. Add you favorite top coat and this gorgeous apple is ready to rock.
I hope you try this design and let me see if you do. Don't forget to share, like and comment if you have any questions or suggestions. Happy polishing!
