Happy Sunday lovely followers! My first week back at classes and at my new job was a success. My kids are amazing and my work colleagues have helped me so much in my first week. I've found myself quite exhausted but I tried to put together this post before the week ended.
I've decided that I will probably be doing my nails at night after uni and work and this is a design I did the other night which I hope you like.

Strawberry Fields
Happy Friday everyone! I'm a bit busy these days with rehearsals and stuff with my choir. Summer is quite a busy period for us as we get lots of concerts but we are having an awesome time. Yesterday before the concert I had some time to do a little nail art.
I love strawberries and I had only painted them once for the Across the Universe design. I decided to try and paint some more starwberries and see how they turned out. I'm pretty pleased with how they ended up looking. Let's see what you think.

Red Poppies
Hello lovelies, how's your week going? I'm leaving tomorrow to spend the weekend away with my friends from my choir Singfònics as we do every summer. Before I went away I wanted to post this design.
Some nail artists from Spain, that includes me, are doing a collaboration under the theme 'red'. I decided to paint a nice red poppy floral over a nude base, Vampire is my Buff by OPI, of course.

Roses Are Red, This Floral Is Too
Hello lovelies! For those who follow me on Instagram this is not new but, for those who don't, I recently bought my first ever OPI polishes. I've just tried one but I'm already a fan of My Vampire is Buff. I can't believe how pretty it is and how well it looks with this floral design.

31 Day Challenge – Day 21: Inspired By A Color (I Feel Sexy)
Hey guys! It's time for a new design for the 31 day Challenge, today I'm starting the third and last phase of the challenge with a hot and sexy design inspired by one of the best reds I own ''Feme Fatal'' by Essence.
I thought the name of the color was sexy enough to inspire a design like this. My nails feel seeeexy! And saying this they also remind me of The Rock Horror Picture Show, one of the last scenes where they are all wearing corsets ang singing and Brad says ''I feel sexy''. However the name of the color just gave me the perfect idea and I loved doing this design it was so fun and ended up looking really well. I'm even showing you how my thumb turned out:
As I told you before the color I used was Feme Fatal by Essence, it's one of the first red polishes I bought and still one of the favorites I own, it even made it into My Top 10.
I hope you enjoyed this design and you are lookig forward for more. Have a nice weekend and happy polishing to you all!

31 Day Challenge – Day 14: Flowers (Red Poppies)
Hey guys! It's time for another mani for the 31 day Challenge. Today's theme was flowers and I just went simple and made some poppies. At first I wanted to do an abstract design with black flowers but they didn't turn out as I wanted so I went with my second idea and this is how they turned out.
What do you think? They aren't really complex but I think they look cute. I'm not that good at flower manis as Lindsey from Wondrously Polished but these are just ok.
These are the colors I used to create this poppy design:
I'm already thinking about all the designs I have to do. I'm having so much fun with this challenge. I've seen so many other bloggers starting it and I'm telling you, you will have so much fun! I'm looking forward to seeing all your designs. Happy polishing!

31 Day Challenge - Day 1: Red Nails (Ruffian Manicure)
Hey guys! I haven't been really inspired this days so I thought it was a great moment to start a challenge. I've been wanting to do the 30DC2013 for ages and now that it's summer and I have time I'm giving it a try. I will probably post manis for the challenge whenever I feel to, or when I need some inspiration.
Todays theme, day 1, was red nails and I tried doing a ruffian manicure. It's my first try so don't be hard on me guys! I'm not really happy with how they turned out but it's not bad to be the first time I do it.
I used this two colors, a fantastic dark red from Essence and a wonderful golden from Techinic. They both look cool together right?
I'm really excited with this challenge. I can't wait to reach the end of the challenge with all those cool themes! Have you ever tried this ruffian techinique? Any tips? I will be happy if you shared with me. I'm really excited with the challenge!! Happy polishing!

Red Galaxy Tutorial
Hey guys! Well as my red galaxy nails
were quite a success, at least between my friends- yes I have friends
hahahah I’m not always painting my nails- I decided to put up this
little tutorial on how to do galaxy nails. I hope it helps you create
your own galaxy nails using different colors and different styles. It’s
quite difficult doing a tutorial like this as what you really do is just
sponge some colors on your nail but I hope it’s useful for you guys.
Let’s get the show started!
1. As always you will need to apply a base coat to protect your natural nails and then paint your nails black. For this design I used black but if you use colors like pinks and purples dark blue also looks great.
2. Use a make up sponge, I cut it in little pieces and I use some tweezers to hold them, like this you get a more precise look. Sponge some red polish on your nail, it doesn’t have to cover it all just on random places. There isn’t really a wrong way to do it just tap it on your nail but before applying remove the excess of polish by tapping it first on a sheet of paper.
3. Sponge on your nail a coral red or something like that, as before not on your whole nail just on one area. When adding a new color use different sponges so they don’t mix and end up looking the same.
4. Add white to your nail, careful you don’t cover all the other colors with white. White will give this impression of galaxy space thing.
5. Add a dark pink or a really dark red, just a bit over the white and as said before not covering the entire nail.
6. On random spots sponge some flashy orange.
7. Add a bit more white and if you want over the white a lighter orange.
8. I sponged on my nails some more of that dark red we used earlier because it got all covered up with the other colors but if it looks fine without adding the red now it’s time to add some glitters, I used a silver glitter and a redish kinda glitter which had little hexagon glitters too. Don’t paint your nail with the glitter, get the brush remove all the glitter and then with the glitter that remains on the brush tap it on your nail randomly.
9. Using dotting tools of different sizes make a few dots on your nail, not too many you don’t want to cover all the colours you used.
10. With a thin brush (this is optional) make a little cross or two as if they were shining stars, but don’t over do it.
11. Add a top coat to blend the colors in and to protect your design. Don’t forget to clean up your cutticles after because they will probably get dirty after sponging so many colors.
Here are all the colors I used in this design in order that I used them:
I hope you enjoyed this tutorial, I know it looks difficult because there’s quite a lot of steps but it really isn’t it just need quite a lot of colors. Try it yourselves and tell me about it. And if the first time it doesn’t turn out quite well remember practice makes perfect. Don’t forget to share with your friends, like and comment if you have any question or suggestion. Happy polishing!

Red Galaxy
Hey guys, I warned you I wanted to do galaxy nails and here they are I
couldn’t wait anymore! After doing those tests on my nail wheel, which
you can see here,
I fell in love with the red galaxy I tried. When I see galaxy nails I
normally see them with purples and blues, reds aren’t that common so I
went for a less common look.
They turned out like as I expected and I really like them. Plus the
glitter looks gorgeous in sunlight. I can’t stop looking at my nails so
shiny and sparkly.
After uploading those tests on galaxy designs some people asked for a tutorial on them so I will be uploading a tutorial on this design later on today or tomorrow with all the steps and colors I used. When I finish my work for university…. I seriously can’t wait until I finish my exams and summer arrives!
I hope you liked my design and you keep tunned for my tutorial on these galaxy nails. Don’t forget to share, like and comment if you have any questions or just a suggestion of nail art you want me to do. Have a lovely day and wish me luck on my literature exam tomorrow. Happy polishing lovelies!

Sant Jordi!
Happy Sant Jordi day to all! I guess most of you are thinking, what the
hell is she talking about? Well let me explain. I live in Catalunya and
on the 23 of April we celebrate Saint Gorge/Sant Jordi which is the
patron saint of Catalunya.
I’ll explain a bit my design. Sant Jordi is the day of the rose and the book. So men buy roses for women and women buy books to men. Why, you will be asking? The legend says that a dragon had a village terrified and to keep it controled they offered a sacrifice to feed the monster. One day the person who had to be given to the dragon was the princess. The story says, that when the dragon was going to eat her, Saint George appeared and saved her, killing the dragon. From the blood of the dragon a rose bush was born and Saint George gave a rose to the princess and the village was saved.
My accent nail is the flag of Catalonia as we are also celebrating a important patriotic day as Sant Jordi is our saint patron.
Here’s a close up of my nail so you can see the little roses I did. The flash doesn’t show the colors of the roses but you can see them a bit better from close.
These are the colors I used for my design including a new red my sister bought:
I hope you like this design and you enjoyed the story behind it. If you have any questions about this tradition ask me, don’t forget to like and comment. And again Happy Sant Jordi to all of you!

Apples Tutorial
Today I will be showing you how to make the complete Apple fruity fruity! mani. So let’s get the show started!
Little Apples:
1. Use your favorite base coat and apply a netral/nude base color for your design. I chose my favorite nude Cookies and Cream by Essence.
2. With a thin brush, dotting tool or even tooth pick, draw little apple shapes on your nail. You can use any color: green, red… Start with the top of the shape, like you were going to draw a heart and then make it rounder at the end, like this you will create a litte apple.
3. Fill every nail with little apples in all the directions you want.
4. With a brown polish make the little tails. Just curve them to a side or another, you can’t do this wrong.
5. Take a green polish for the leaf. With a brush or dotting tool just make a dot and slide the brush to the tail of the apple to create the shape of the leaf. don’t worry if it isn’t perfect it’s just a leaf. If you accidentali went over the brown polish don’t worry just go over the brown again to cover the green. In fact I did this on all the apples to give them a cleaner look.
6. Apply your favorite top coat and you have finished! It’s time to show off this cute design perfect for spring.
To make your design a bit more interesting you can add an accent nail. On my ring finger I did a hole apple just to break a bit with the design so it wouldn’t be the same. Here you have how to make this accent nail.
Accent nail:
1. Start with a naked nail. You should a apply a base coat to protect your natural nails. Mine is already stained, problems of a polisholic.
2. With a thin brush or dotting tool, life before we will draw the shape of a heart. It doesn’t have to be symmetrical. Remember it’s an apple and they aren’t perfect. Just be careful you leave plenty of space for the details (tail and leaf)
3. Fill in the apple. Just as befor you can do the apple any color. I used Feme Fatal by Essence.
4. Pick the same brown polish you used for your little apples and draw the tail, curving it to one side.
5. Use any green for the leaf, I used Not A Greenager by Catrice. Rememer it’s the same technique as before: dot and slide until you touch the tail. Here you can also go over the brown to cover any green you got there by accident.
6. Add you favorite top coat and this gorgeous apple is ready to rock.
I hope you try this design and let me see if you do. Don't forget to share, like and comment if you have any questions or suggestions. Happy polishing!

Apple Fruity Fruity!
It is strange but i had never painted food on my nails. Well I once did a
candy cane theme mani but never real food. I decided to do little red
apples because they are just the cutest and sexiest fruit, don’t you
think?
They are a prefect mani for the spring so fresh and sweet. What do you think? Do you like them? I have been quite busy these days, my last manis have been quite simple but I’m planning on some new stuff a bit more complex. I hope they turn out decent enough to post them.
These are the colours I used for this design:
To clean my brushes I use a cotton pad and this is what it looked like when I finished painting my nails. It kind of looks like an apple tree. Curious, don’t you think?
Let me know what you think about this design and don’t forget to share, like and comment. I will be posting a tutorial of these nails later today. I hope you like it and try them yourselves.
