Green Slime Nail Art

Hello my lovely followers! Before the month ends I'm posting the last Halloween nail art. Do you have any Halloween plans? I'm dressing up as overdosed Mia Wallace from Pulp fiction and going out with my friends.

Today I decided to do a drip design, just as I did last year for Halloween. This time isntead of blood it's green slime dripping down my nails.

Hey guys! I am writing today on my last hour of my last day of my holidays. This is a really sad moment that needs to be brighten up by some colorful nail art.

Last night, after a nail fail caused by the beauty of Charie Hunnam, I decided to paint something easy and bright with a nice selection of summer colors.

Abstract Nature

Hello lovelies! Last week of holiday and a terrible thing happened the other day. I had the most terrible and painful break on the hand I do my nail art on. However I was lucky enough for it to be my thumb which I normally don't show and I can easily regrow without much pain.

After leting you know this, which I really don't know if you care or not but it's my blog and I will tell you anyway, I will show you today's design.

Achromatic Leaves Pattern

Uuupps guys it's been a while! Hello everybody, it's been nearly a week I can't believe it. I'm totally enjoying my last weeks of freedom before going back to uni and starting my new job as a teacher and I even neglected paiting my nails because of a break on my thumb, and because I was too sad to remove my last design.

I'm back with new nail art. You will probably recognize this design and that is because it's totally inspired by Pshiiit Polish.

Mani Swap with Lindsey from Wondrously Polished: Feather and Floral Nail Art

Happy Wednsesday! How is your week going? Enjoying the last weeks of your holida? I am making the most out of them before they finish.

As I told you in my last post I have a little surprise for you, I did a mani swap with the talented Lindsey from Wondrously Polished. I decided it would be a nice idea since we are on hiatus from the NAGG Challenge we have been doing together. We picked one of our designs and recreated it.

Nail-Art-A-Go-Go Challenge - Day 15: Round and Square

Hello lovelies! Finally friday. Although I'm on holiday I celebrate that it's already friday because every morning I go to study for my driving licence, which I still haven't got. So I'm happy that tomorrow morning I can sleep in a bit.

Today I bring to you a new design for the NAGG Challenge. The frist theme for the third phase of the challenge is Round and Square and I did this simple geometrical pattern.

Nail-Art-A-Go-Go Challenge - Day 14: Sweets

Hello lovelies! I've sure taken my time to come back after my trip to Milan. It's been nearly a week since I last posted, shame on me. However, I'm back now and for the moment I'm not planning to leave. The concert was awesome and now I'm back with some nail art.

After a week without posting I need to continue with the NAGG challenge. Today's theme (well actually yesterday's sorry, I should have posted on Monday....) is sweets. I wasn't really inspired by this so I ended up doing something simple. I hope you like this jelly beans design.

Pink Flamingos

Hello lovelies! How is everything going? Me and my family are doing a bit better. Now that I'm on holiday I also feel better, stress did not help much with my situation. I hope that you excuse this month with such little activity. I promise I will do better from now on.

The other day I bought a new shirt and it's yellow and has pink flamingos on it. I thought it would be a wonderful idea for a nail art design so here it is.

Striped Neon

Hey guys! How is everything going? I'm happy to say that I'm not so stressed as the other day and that I found some time to sit down, watch some of my favorite TV shows and pain my nails. Today I'm bringing a fun and bright mani perfect for spring, which in fact is nearly here so don't tell me it's not spring yet.

31 Day Challenge – Day 22: Inspired By A Song (Lightning Strikes - Aerosmith)

Hey guys! Have you missed me? It's time for a new design for the 31 day challenge. I'm slowly getting closer to the end of this challenge but I'm having so much fun. So today's theme was ''inspired by a song'' and of course I chose an Aerosmith song ''Lightnint Strikes'' from the album ''Rock In A Hard Place''.

I didn't quite know what to do, I just knew I wanted it to be an Aerosmith song, and the other day I was listening to this album and I thought it would make a great nail design. I guess not many people know this song by Aerosmith, as it's part of their least known album, so if you want you can listen to it here.

For the background I used different blues and a pink to give it some contrast and as my white polish has runned out I did the lightenings with a pastel yellow polish. These are the colors I used:

31 Day Challenge – Day 19: Galaxy (You Can Paint With All The Colors Of The Universe)

Hey guys! It's time for another mani for the 31 day challenge. It has finally arrived, galaxy themed nails! As you may all know galaxies are one of my favorite things to do. Do you remember when I went crazy and did all those galaxies on a nail wheel? I couldn't wait for galaxy day and here you have five different galaxies, each one on a different finger. Enjoy!

I was feeling inspired today and I really wanted to enjoy myself with this design so I did five different color combinations on each finger. And it's strange that actually my favorite combination was the one I did on my thumb, wich I don't really show because I got it caught in a door as a kid and it's a bit strange, but here you are:

I think I had never used so mani colors for a design, I mean it's like 4-6 colors for each nail. I took photos off all the color combinations so you can see which ones I used in case you like them so much you also want to do a galaxy design with the same colors. Here are all the colors I used for each nail:

When I finished the design my desk was a mess with so many bottles, I also used a black base polish 'Black on Black' by Sinful Colors and the silver glitter is 'Helo Holo' by Essence.

Catalunya Next European State

Hey guys! Surprise today's design is not part of the 31 day Challenge. Today's mani is dedicated to Catalunya, today is September 11th, our national day. As many of you know if you have read my About Me page I am catalan and our country is fighting for our right to decide if we want to be an independent state. These nails represent the flag that asks for independence.

Today is a really emotional and special day for all of us, a human chain will follow the length of the whole country (400km) so the world knows about our situation. You can find more information if you are interested here.

These are the colors I used for this design, including this new amazing blue polish by a new brand I had never used before:

31 Day Challenge – Day 13: Animal Print (Kiss The Frog)

Hey guys! It's been a while since the last mani for the 31 day challenge but I hope that in the meantime you enjoyed my last tutorial. The theme for today's design was animal print. I have to confess I had never done an animal print before, I mean I really don't like the typical animal print nails so I went with something different.

I got my inspiration from this colorful little frog. I felt in love with this little guy instantly while searching for something I could recreate on my nails, which wasn't the typical zebra or cheetah print. The colors were greate and those little black spots were adorable and I could really translate it to my nails.

The colors I used aren't really accurate but i think they look great even if they aren't exaclty the same as the frog. These are the two colors I used for the gradient:

What do you think? Is this frog good enough to be considered animal print? I hope it does because I love how they turned out. Let me know what you think on the comments and happy polishing!

31 Day Challenge – Day 12: Stripes (Stripes n' Roses)

Hey guys! I nearly forgot to post these nails for the 31 day Challenge. Today's theme for this mani was stripes. I thought just doing some stripes wasn't enough I wanted to do some nail art and I just added some little red roses on top of the stripes. Let's see what you think of this design.

I think this is the first time I'm actually happy with free handed stripes, normally I suck at making straight parallel lines but this time I'm really happy with the result. What about the flowers? I think they also look pretty cute.

31 Day Challenge – Day 10: Gradient (Palm Trees at Sunset)

Hey guys! Today's design is the las mani for the first phase of the 31 day Challenge, this phase was all inspired by colors. The last mani for this part of the challenge was gradient, something that I suck at, well I sucked at. I am happy to inform you that I've actually gotten a bit better with my gradient with sponging technique and I would like to share my work with this simple gradient with some nail art.

I'm so happy that this gradient isn't a fail. I just need to get a little bit better with the direction I sponge because it came out a bit well... the colors werent blending straight they were kind of in diagonal but well practice will make perfect or at least decent.

I used three colors for the gradient and a make up sponge, I will be listing all these things on another post as I will be doing a tutorial on how to do this design, keep tuned for it. I hope you like this design and look forward for the tutorial. Happy polishing!

31 Day Challenge – Day 9: Rainbow Nails

Hey guys! Don't you think after black and white themed nails and a metallic theme mani we need a bit of color? Today's theme for the challenge is rainbow nails, a bit of color for my babies!

Straight parallel lines aren't really my thing but I really like how the colors look together and I think I really didn't do that bad right? I should have used striping tape but that was too much work and a big mess if it didnt turn out as I wanted. I'm pretty happy with the result.

Even if the lines aren't the srtaightest lines I've painted I think the mani in general looks pretty nice. What do you guys thinkg? I'm just one design away from finishing the first phase of the challenge. I'm having so much fun! I really recommend doing it! I hope you liked this mani, happy polishing lovelies!

31 Day Challenge – Day 6: Blue Nails (Blue Skies)

Hey guys! Just a new post for the 31 day Challenge. Today's theme was blue nails and recently I bought this beautiful pale blue, the color of the sky. I decided to do a sky related mani, I had done something similar only sky and clouds so I decided to add some kites.

I also decided to make it matte. I bought a matte top coat this weekend and, well I've been wanting one forever, and I couldn't wait to use it! What do you thinkg? It's my first matte manicure and I really like the effect. You will be seeing more matte stuff I think I will play around with my matte top coat!

31 Day Challenge – Day 4: Green Nails (Sweet Kiwi)

Hey guys! I got inspired this morning and I decided to do a cute fruity mani for today's theme: green nails. The nails aren't maybe green enough but what counts is that green makes me think of one of my best friends, she loves green because she loves kiwis. That's the story! Enjoy my kiwi manicure for the 4th day of the 31 day Challenge.

Don't they look cute? They were quick and easy to do. Plus I've been wanting to do kiwis forever because of my friend and well here they are and I dedicate them to you Joa! I love you so much!

These are the colors I used for this mani. I have to say that Bocca Mocha by Sally Hensen was the perfect brown for the kiwis' skin!
