Nail-Art-A-Go-Go Challenge - Day 8: Still Life

Happy Monday, that is if a Monday can be happy. I hope you all enjoyed your weekend and are starting the week fully recharged. As you all know Monday means new design for the NAGG Challenge and here it is as always.

Today's theme was still life. I have to say that not even in art class I liked it very much. I've always found still life paitings sad and dark in some way. But well I had to come up with something and I ended up doing this.

I decided to paint two little bottles of polish over a neutral base (Did you 'ear about Van Gogh by OPI). I think the bottles look quite realistic but as I wasn't really enjoying this theme I didn't put much effort into the background or table.

This theme however has helped me realize that to make designs like this one I should use acrylic paint. It's been a while since I've thought I should give acrylics a try and maybe soon I will.

What do you guys think of this design? Would you wear something like this or is it a bit too much? I have to say that I took them right off just to paint some other stuff I will be soon showing you all.
