Trust Me I'm the Doctor by Polish Addict: Swatches and Nail Art

Hello nail art addicts and fellow whovians. It's finally time to get this post out. You all know how I got the Doctor Who inspired collection of nail polishes by Polish Addict Nail Color quite a long time ago. I swatched and did nail art on all the colors and I have been waiting to have some time to put this post toether.

The collection consisted of six pastel holos (blue, yellow, purple, green, golden and pink) with names inspried by the show. On all the swatches I painted some nail art related to Doctor Who. I tried to make them relate to the names but that was a bit difficult so instead I did typical Doctor Who elements.

Purple Universe

Hey guys! After two days, I repeat TWO DAYS, of naked nails - I know right unbelievable-  I finally went and did some galaxy nails. Galaxy nails are what I call emergency state nails. Whenever I don't know what to do or I just need to paint my nails because they've been naked for too long I just go with galaxies. I'm quite proud of my sponging skills and the colors I use for galaxies so I decided to do a purple one.

 They look awesome in daylight because of all the shimmer and glitter which you can't really see in the photo. I actually mixed my grey KIKO holo with a purple KIKO polish which shows only with daylight and looks really cool and galaxy-ish. I didn't use as many colors as I normally do for galaxies, these are all the ones I used:

Holo Spirals

Hey guys, I had some time left yesterday after going out to buy me a new bikini, yay at last, and I decided to do a quick design using black polish and silver holo!

I really like how the holographic polish looks with black and the spiral forms were fun to paint. And they were quite easy to do, they look like a goth candy cane.

As a base I used my KIKO holographic polish, this one and a blue holo also from KIKO are the only holos I own but I really like them. They look so cool in the sun.

Do you own any holo polishes? What do you think about them? I think they are so cool, I know they are a trend but I think they won't be left behind I mean crackled or however you spell that, polish was terrible I really hate that one but holo is amazing! Happy polishing lovelies!

Purple Nails for Boston

This purple for Boston is going around Instagram and I had to do it. I heard this morning and it’s terrible. What’s the matter with this world? I have no words, I mean it’s a marathon, running, sport, health… who would want to ruin such an event? I send my best wishes to all the families affected by this tragedy.
Today I bought this new silver holographic polish from KIKO and I couldn’t wait to swatch it, but when I saw the purple theme on Instagram I decided to get my new Catrice polish Shopping Day At Bluemingdales, a kind of violet color and put it straight away for Boston. It doesn’t really show here with this light but it isn’t blue, even though it looks like blue. Damm flash…

I thought the colors were gorgeous but they needed something else so I added some squares with a light purple also from KIKO. And they turned out really nice. The holo is amazing and the pastel purple just gives it a fresher look.
 

These are the colors I used for this mani. I had to take the picture without a flash because the purple keep showing like it was blue! And it isn’t!!!
